I watched them both and like them! The photos are beautiful. I'd stay with that first focus as it is very compelling....

Just a note to say I thought you did a really good job on your videos. A interesting subject matter, great pictures, the music was right for the piece, and you did a good job on narration. I think it would be a excellent documentary for TV. With interviews, it could easily be a hour show. I hope somebody does pick this up and runs with it.
I'll be looking forward to seeing this on the Discovery channel.

AWESOME video, Barbara. I work a lot in northern Fairfield county and always marvel at the numerous winding stone walls I see in towns like Monroe, Newtown and Brookfield. I haven't seen any chambers yet, but now I'll be on the lookout for them. I agree something should be done to preserve these national treasures. Have you ever been to the Natural Bridge in Virginia? Very cool. Thank you for creating this marvelous video!

This is so amazing, such a grand effort to expose this, the narration is exquisite and compelling. These kinds of deep historical evidences have always fascinated me, I have read all about the pyramids and stonehenge, these walls and chambers have some reason, some purpose, but modern thinking is unable to unlock their mystery. This message come to me at a time when I am currently researching my next essay, Echos From The Stars, about how we are linked to the Universe in so many ways. I have been reading about Sirius B, a tiny star that orbits Sirius every 50 years, went undetected until the late 19th century when telescopes were developed enough to visually identify it. It was not photographed until the 1970's, but the fascinating historical fact is that an ancient tribe that migrated from Egypt to West Africa thousands of years ago, who were in the vicinity the pyramids during their construction, knew of this star and worshiped it, had depicted it on ancient cave drawings. There is great speculation about this discovery, which was unveiled in the 1930s by anthropologists. Sirius B is a white dwarf star, extremely dense, 1 teaspoon of matter would weigh 5 tons on the Earth. More to come, just beginning to write, still much research to be done. Thanks a bunch for sending me this, it made my day. Thinking of you.
       Love, Ray

Great job, and a wonderful tale...best to you and the efforts for the documentary!

Just watched part 1, and I listed the link on my Facebook page too! Really nice. Beautiful photos and videos, I always thought those walls were made by colonial farmers when they were preparing fields for planting, getting the rocks out of the ground and making walls with them. So I am interested in finding out more. Will watch part 2 tomorrow probably. Hope you are well and that we have a chance to talk sometime.

Hi Barbara!! I forwarded those FASCINATING videos to most of the people in my contact list. Thanks for sending it!

THE FILMS ROCK!! ( so to speak!) Solid yet mystical. Music is great and love the closeups of the rocks. Great work! Success is just a stones throw away ..just kidding. It IS BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing,

Dear Barbara, thank you for this, and for your heart driven efforts to make this documentary possible. It is so well done and I am completely speechless. You and your colleagues have done something so timely and magnificent, and I feel it will have a wonderful influence on generations to come. I had no idea there were so many. I did sit in one of the stone structures in Groton many years ago and I love
being held in the rocks. Thank you for continuing to open us to the wonder and mystery around us. This is so well done. My only input is that I wish the structures pictured had the location written somewhere at the bottom of the photograph so that I could reference the place in my mind. I would love to see a map connected to
this with studies on numbers of stone structures and other information regarding placement with respect to the directions and the geomancy involved.... Just a thought -- I feel you are on to something so big and it's going to bring more information to you so that the preservation and awareness can really begin.
River of Joy and Ocean of love, God bless your good work. Cecilia

Wow just amazing..you may want to check out a farm here in Newtown called sticks and stones farm....Right up your alley....Much sucess and thanks for the awareness...The other Barbara

This was fascinating!! I had no idea that many chambers and walls existed in the Northeast. The music, narration, photos were beautiful and well done. I am looking forward to the full length documentary which will help tremendously in getting the word out to protect these stones of history. Just curious, have psychics or mediums been to any of these chambers to read the energy? These readings may not be taken for fact or proof, but could in itself help researchers to narrow down their history.
Thank you for the links!

I saw it and loved it. I will pass it on to my people Barb. Good job from everyone involved.

Very, very informative! Wonderful views Commentary excellent...one question: explain "documented speculation" was it documented in the 1600s or about the 1600s? Where were the stones with the crescent and hat?
       Ruth - VA

Dear Barbara....nice job.....fascinating subject.....they have always mystified me....I think the vaults could have been homes for the winter.....think about it the ground acts as a good insulator the rocks when heated would hold the heat well....protection from the harsh winters and the wild animals....good job looking forward to future work...best Jonathan....Chers husband

That was incredibly beautiful...and opened up a whole new way of looking at New England's stone walls that had never occured to me before...having lived half my life there it brought back such good memories. I remember reading Scott Peck's "Searching For Stones" which he did in Scotland...but, why not here, too? It makes sense. I just finished reading about the Anastasi...the ancient people that lived here in CO and other places as well, and they had all these stone configurations that meant something spriitual and were important to them, too. You have a lovely voice, and combining that with the beautiful pictures made a wonderful start to my day. I am so glad that you still find so much joy in your work. I will definitely pass this on. Thanks for sharing.

Watched the two videos again. Beautifully done! Makes me so proud to have grown up in Putnam County.

Barbara I loved It!!! We have so many of these rock wall formations here in our neck of the woods too. I often drive around where I know they are and imagine what it took to create, how long and how many people were involved. What a labor of (1st necesity), leading to a labor of love, love of what you believe in and what you are all about. Family, property and continuing the ancestors trades all tie into these walls of history.
       Laura - NY

Nice job..everything looks and sounds great...the copy too. I saw many of these dwellings in NH and there are a lot of books written on the subject and the people who made and lived in them as well.
       Michael

Beautiful and fascinating. Love the music!
       Christine

The stones may be a large part of the reason I miss New England! I have always felt a kinship and intrigue towards them. Incredible formations and art in that the stones are selected and placed to fit exactly together so as not to fall over. I love this documentary!
